Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-17 · Last updated 17 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Glan Hub S.A.L., operator of the Glan Ads brand ("Glan Ads", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use glanads.com and related services (the "Platform"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. We process personal data in line with applicable law, including Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
1. Data we collect
You give us:
- Account data — name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile picture, language.
- Company data — company name, registration number, and the registration or identity documents you upload for verification.
- Request and booking data — selected spaces, dates, campaign details, messages, quotes, invoices and payment records.
- Content — artwork, images, videos and SMS message text you upload, and any recipient data you provide for SMS campaigns.
- Communications — messages and emails you send us.
We collect automatically:
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, actions taken, dates and times, approximate location from IP.
- Security data — sign-in attempts, known devices, sessions and audit logs, used to protect accounts.
- Visit analytics — the pages you open, how long you stay on each, the billboards you view, the website that referred you, your approximate country and city, and your device and browser type. A random visitor identifier is stored in your browser to link your visits; your IP address is not stored for this. If you are signed in, visits are linked to your account.
- Cookies and local storage — needed to keep you signed in, remember your cart, favourites and preferences, and hold the visitor identifier above. We do not use advertising cookies, and our analytics are not shared with third parties.
From others: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google. Suppliers and team members may add information about you when working on a booking or inviting you to an organisation.
2. How we use it
- To create and run your account, verify companies, and provide the Platform — to perform our contract with you.
- To pass requests to Suppliers, prepare quotes, manage bookings and invoices, collect payments from Clients and transfer them to Suppliers — to perform the contract.
- To keep the Platform and accounts secure, detect fraud and abuse, and fix errors — our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- To send service emails and notifications (for example request updates and security alerts) — to perform the contract.
- To understand how the Platform is used, which pages and billboards interest visitors, and to improve it — our legitimate interests.
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and establish or defend legal claims — legal obligations and legitimate interests.
- To record that you accepted our Terms (version, date, time and IP address) — legal obligations and legitimate interests.
- To send you news and offers about Glan Ads, where you have not opted out — our legitimate interests or your consent. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
3. Who we share it with
- Suppliers, for requests and bookings you make: your name, company, contact details and campaign details as needed to quote and deliver.
- Banks and payment providers, to receive your payments, transfer funds to Suppliers and process refunds.
- Service providers who process data for us under contract and must keep it confidential and secure, including cloud hosting (Railway), file storage (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), accounting and invoicing (Zoho), error monitoring (Sentry), sign-in and maps (Google), and telecom operators for SMS.
- Your organisation's members, for data within an organisation workspace.
- Authorities, courts or advisers, where required by law or needed to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised or sold, under this Policy.
4. International transfers
Some service providers store or process data outside Lebanon (for example in the European Union or the United States). We use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of sensitive credentials and tokens at rest, private storage for verification documents with short-lived access links, access controls, and monitoring. No online system is completely secure; see section 8 of our Terms. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
You help keep your account safe by using a strong, unique password and never sharing it.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is active, and deleted or anonymised after you close it, except as below.
- Booking, invoice and payment records: as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes (generally up to 10 years).
- Verification documents: while your account is active and for up to 5 years after, to show we verified the company.
- Visit analytics: up to 25 months.
- Records of Terms acceptance and security logs: as long as needed to establish or defend legal claims.
7. Your rights
Subject to the law, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent (this does not affect processing already done). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Platform, such as signing in, will then not work. You can export your data and delete your account from your account settings, or contact us. We may need to verify your identity and may keep data we are legally required to keep.
8. Children
The Platform is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. The version and date at the top show the current version, and we will tell you about material changes.
